Holy Communion

"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you." - John 6:53

The Eucharist Completes our initiation as Christians.  The Catechism tells us "the Eucharist is the 'source and summit' of the Christian life" (CCC 1324).  It is also where we give thanks to God for all he has done for us.

At Saint Anne Parish, First Holy Communion is usually received in 2nd grade.  Parents are the primary catechists of the Catholic faith for their children.  Starting in the fall of 2017 we will be having our Religious Education classes 2 Sundays a month between the morning Masses.

Requirements for the reception of First Holy Communion:
- Children are in 2nd grade or have reached the age of 7.
-Children have been Baptized.
-Children have been enrolled in 1 year of religious instruction whether it be at Saint Anne Catholic School or Religious Education classes at Saint Anne Parish.
