Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Members of this ministry assist in the distribution of the Body of Christ. They should show the greatest reverence for the Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the Holy Eucharist. Participants in this ministry will be appointed by the Pastor. Training is provided.  Please contact Larry Prindaville at 815-288-7071.

Holy Communion to the Homebound
Members will bring Holy Communion to the homebound, Liberty Court, Heritage Square, and Mabley Center. Participants in this ministry will be appointed by the Pastor. Altar Servers
Altar servers assist the priest celebrant and the entire worshiping community during the celebration of Mass, during special liturgies, and during the celebration of the Sacraments. All children in 4th grade or 9 years old and up are invited to serve in this ministry. Training is provided. Please contact the parish office at 815-288-3131 for more information. 

Lectors
Lectors welcome the congregation, proclaim the Word of God and address the congregation with any announcements before Mass. Training is provided.  Please contact Larry Prindaville at 815-288-7071.

Ushers
Ushers welcome the parishioners, assist them in finding a seat when necessary, recruit and give instruction to gift bearers before Mass, take up the collection, and direct the Holy Communion procession. Ushers handle the tasks of hospitality and administration to ensure the dignified flow of the liturgy. A sense of cheerful service and good timing is essential. Ushers are prepared for emergency assistance if anyone should need it. Liturgical Decor
This ministry is responsible for the beautification and seasonal / sacramental decor of the church, altar, etc.  Please contact the parish office for more information: 815-288-3131.

Resurrection Choir
The members of the Resurrection Choir enhance the beauty of funeral services and special occasions through the beauty and joy of music. Rehearsal time is required.  Please call the parish office at 815-288-3131 for more information.
