Dear Parents,
Thank you for your patience in waiting to hear Father Draper's decision about in person classes. Father and I were finally able to meet yesterday evening and discuss the situation and it has been decided to have the next three classes done at home. Those dates are Sunday, December 6 and 13 and January 10, 2021. Of course the lessons do not have to be done on those days since you are helping your child with them at home but when we hopefully meet again on January 24, 2021 your child's lessons will need to be completed. Now onto the logistics of how we hope to achieve this. The catechists and I know that this is a stressful time with virtual schooling going on for many of you so first and foremost we want to keep this straightforward and as simple as possible.
1. Please stop at St. Anne Parish and School this Friday (December 4) between the hours of 4-5 P.M. at the West end door (our normal drop off/pick up spot) to pick up your student's Alive in Christ student workbook.
2. At the time of pick up I will also give you an access code for the Alive in Christ site called Our Sunday Visitor. This site allows access to a host of supporting resources such as games, videos, etc. and even resources in Spanish.You may use this resource or not. It's entirely up to you.
3. Your child's teacher will be given your email so watch for messages, lessons they would like you to work through and words of encouragement from them.You may need to check your trash or spam email for these at first.
4. I will always be available through email so please feel free to contact me or your child's teachers if you have questions.
