K-8 Religious Education

We believe that effective, long term religious education starts in the home. Parents are the primary educators of the Faith.  Children and teens need to become lifelong Catholics and members of the Church. This starts by involving the whole family in the life of the church.

Our RE classes are on some Sunday mornings from 9-10:15am. REGULAR MASS ATTENDANCE IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED by BOTH parents and children. Attending the Mass allows children to integrate what they learned at home online with their parents, and in class with the catechists with the Holy Mass. The Mass is our most important prayer as Catholic Christians. The Church tells us that celebrating the Mass is the “source and summit” of our Christian life. That means that our prayer at Mass on Sunday gives us strength to do good things the rest of the week! It also means that our prayer at Mass is so important that everything else we do should help us to prepare for it.
